Surf Academy@treviglas

Name: SIR Jye Andrews

Nickname: The Rabbi

Standard of surfing: I can beat all the pros at a comp……… if it was for the best bails.

Best surf: the best surf I have had was on a Friday morning. Rob, Ant and I was meeting the guys from the Surf Academy at crantock and we had decided that we would make are own why there and meet them when the got off the mini bus. Well we walk though a couple for streets and came to a field walk though a load of thorns and cam to the view of the river rushing thought the beach and we had to get to the other side with are bags and boards after climbing down a huge amount of very sharp and dangerous rocks to come across a huge river with a nasty current and we had to keep are bags dry and not get swapped out to sea. After we swam across the river we meet up with Elis and Tom at ************ which was not working to the dismay of Rob as he wanted to get a decent right hander after a bit at the left. I paddled my little heart out and made it to the rest of the peps from the college and had a blast. Before too long I had had my board stolen from me by a very excitable midget and I ended up sinking a 5 foot board. I had a great laugh, and a good surf the only bad thing was going home as it was a mission and a half to get home. The expedition was lead by SIR Rob Harvey.

Worst surf:

Where I am from, what I am on. I am from the nice upbeat place called Plymouth or chav city there is no surf and normally a stabbing in the outer parts of town. I am riding a an antique of a board it is a 6 foot lermount from 1972 single fin and it is a boat but so much fun to ride.

Career aspirations: I would love to get into the business of reef design and make artificial breaks.

Thoughts of the course: the course is great, the teachers are a good laugh apart from ELLIS ! Hahaha the work as of yet is easy but there is a lot of it and it takes a lot of time.

My predicted grades: I predict that my grades are going to be awesome. Yes yes they will.
